Thanks, I should add that when I got to the boat I tried just the trailer up and only port side came up. However once I played with the starboard tabs a little bit then tried the trailer up again both sides came up. I was able to repeat multiple times with no issues. I will say the port side...
Quick update went down to her today. Tried trailer up nod only port side came up and the starboard side made noise but no movement. Played with the tabs and tried again. This time both legs raised by the trailer up switch. I can only assume that somehow the tab was blocking the leg from raising...
Cliff you are absolutely correct, I was backwards in my thinking at the time. The reason I think I thought this way was two things. First bow up stern down and secondly I have found more aeration of the props with bow down. I should also mention I have never trimmed the legs, I only use tabs for...
Thanks guys I will be doing some checking today. It is in the water and hoping not to have to pull her. If i need to pull her I will but hoping to keep her in the salt lol
So was out cruising with my kids and grand kids today. We were heading in about 3300 rpm. Heard what sounded like aerating my props so I trimmed bow up to keep props more in the water. Boat didn't seem right after that. I had kind of thought I may have spun a prop but I could reverse and forward...
That is a good question, as my 94 does the exact same thing. I have read this is common but I do not believe I have ever read exactly why this happens.

Thanks Pseudo, they look similar. I don't think that's them but they look close. I will take a look of there is any markings on them when I get home this week. It looks like the part under the gran handle would extend out and hold on to the top part of the dinghy when it is tipped up

Not sure if you aware or not, but mine you need to hold the key turned over. First position shows level second position pumps out. Short of that can you hear anything running?

The picture shows what I believe to be part of a davit system. It has the 2 pieces on the swim platform and looks like something else under the grab handle above the name. I just bought an 8 foot Walker Bay Odyssey inflatable and want to know what type that is, what am I missing, what to buy? Is...
Not hijacking but am interested in finding out same thing. I just picked up a walker bay 8 foot odyssey my 290 has the triangle style bracket already on it but nothing on the dinghy. I am interested in hearing results or ideas

Thanks IB that's my thoughts, I can listen and it is pretty close to the RPM gauges matching. Must be common gauge issue including both my trim gauges don't work either

94 Sundancer 290 having issues with sync. May be just bad sync gauge. Right now showing engines in sync but port engine shows 3000 rpm and starboard shows about 2200.

I feel your pain with all the worry you are going through, I have been there. Left my little lake boat full of water and it hit minus 20 Celsius in September for a couple days in northern Alberta. I got real lucky and only pushed out the frost plugs. On Van Isle I don't winterized my 290 as it's...
Yeah I feel ya on that. Sometimes buying used boats you look at the original name and your like, why? Lol
There is another reason we called her that other than the obvious. Another play on the name could be every last cent

That could make sense but it was fun to do the big to do and we feel better having done it. I don't think Poseidon or Neptune minded the champagne and acknowledgement lol

Yes we did Vigors renaming ceremony and christening. Was a little awkward at the Marina. We only know 1 of our dock neighbours he just watched and was cool. However there were other dock neighbours around and watching that we did not know were there. They all came up after the fact and asked...
