I know smartcraft is constantly being discussed, but I am about to add a NMEA2000 converter as well. Could you add a simple wire diagram / part numbers for the smartcraft gear you used?

Have not tried it yet. It will be part of a bigger rewire that I have been trying to start but keep having to travel for work. Hopefully mid-Sept I will be able to give it a go.

I would guess that is a NMEA 0183 GPS input into the Smartcraft system so that it can calculate SOG. You do need a gateway to connect to NMEA 2000 and get engine data, fuel consumption, etc out of Smartcraft and onto a NMEA 2000 network. Not an expert and currently trying to navigate the best...

I replaced my EIM and rubber touch pad with toggle switches from a 2011 SD. I do not know which part is failing but if anyone wants them for troubleshooting I will send them USPS flat rate if you cover postage.
