What was your cost? I just reupholstered the cockpit and now my dash is totally in need of updating. Needs new gauges, switches, breakers...the works. Did you do the panels, or did you have them done?

We have one exactly like it. We have a 19" TV mounted above the stove on a swing arm mount. Plenty big enough when your on the v-birth and you can swivel it so you can see it from the dinette when you eat. As far as the bottom paint goes, If it looks good, use it.

Does the trim piece at the end of the handle come off some how to gain access to the screws?

I have a 1985 260 DA that I am reupholstering. I can't figure out how to remove the grab handles on the back of the helm seat. There are two of them just above the rear fold down seats. They do have 1 bolt at each end of each handle that I have removed, but it looks like a wood screw through the...
