Regarding Kentmoor on Kent Island in the CBay, can these boats get in there cleanly or is it a dredging operation? With my 420 I kick up a bunch of silt and it looks like the 480/500/520 draws about a foot more. Many thanks in advance.

So we are almost done. All that is left to do is send the cable from the cockpit camera to the helm, and locate an unavailable camera connector cable so both cameras can go into the unit. However, it looks pretty good. Sea Ray had a supplier make the panel which looks stock. Cameras will help...
Pulled the trigger. A new panel was about $400 from Sea Ray's supplier. The rest is a bit more.... Hopefully it will go smoothly. There will be cameras, a sounder, and a new MFD. I am focusing on being excited!

When you say it dropped right in, how did you deal with the difference in height? My measurements indicate a gap would exist top and bottom. Thanks!
Well I have the quote, which includes salon and cockpit cameras as well. It is not a cheap move, that is for sure. I am waiting on a quote on the panel from Sea Ray. There is not a lot of clearance as the unit measures 13.9 they say, and there is 14.25 between the clusters. Almost there...

Cool. Thanks. Too bad everything in a boat is a PIA to fix. Except the faucet strainers - I suppose - soaked them in vinegar for an hour and they are as good as new - nice water flow.
The pan drains into the basin that it is sitting in via a fitting on the aft end ofnthe pan. Then the basin drains to the sump. The line appears clogged. Will try to blow it out.
My 420 DB has 2 amps, one inside one outside, both located behind the back cushions of the sofa in the salon opposite the stereo. The cushions are velcroed at the bottom and pinned at the top so the lift up.
I spoke with the Sureflo folks and they said that the software was likely bad. So I looked for the pump in the Annapolis area, where of course it was not available. A lovely drive to Deal and I had a new pump.
I wish that the people who build boats knew (and liked) the people who fix boats...
A vivid analogy. My c120 screen is scraped up, I want to add a fishfinder and use a few new bells and whistles etc. So if I can skip the cost of fixing the SRN then that gets me a little closer to my new system. That was my thought process.
What are popular upgrades for the nav electronics? I have the C120 and a SR Navigator. The Navigator is now refusing to Boot up and hangs on a boot screen. I have been thinking of upgrading for a while but now the E120s aren't in production. Are there any popular combinations people are using...
Boat ran so much better with the reconditioned props. I got higher rpm than I've ever seen (2650-2670) and really felt great. So, while not a cheap exercise, there were some benefits.
