Pull out the switch and check it with a voltmeter. Sounds like the switch may be bad if you aren't seeing the indicator light. Do the other switches for the galley work?

I was dealing with the same issue with mine and did exactly what you said. I ran from the back of the bose receiver and it does look a lot cleaner than having several wires hanging out. The only set back is its only in the galley and I don't have any way of it running outside.

Thanks for the reply! I'm trying to run it from the cd player in the galley to the cockpit. Its just to hook up ipod/music players. Its a clarion cd deck, I'm hoping there is an aux out on the back of the player. I just don't want to go tearing into something that doesnt necessarily need to be...

Anyone had any experience doing this? Was wondering the best way to get one installed. Preferably Ill do the work myself.

Nothing off the top of my head. Ive had her for about year and a half, the only problems Ive had have been with the damn uline ice maker and pod drive. I wish I could say I fixed them with some tinkering of my own, but I cant lol.

I own one, currently looking for an upgrade though. Been looking in to 480's at least 2007 or up.
