Last summer my Gull Sweep ripped my bimini during noreaster....was wondering, when you order from Great Lakes ,do you need to buy the whole set up,frame and all ? Or can you just buy the canvas that you need to replace and attach it yourself ? In my case I would need the whole front bimini...
Anyone ever get a non-renewal notice ?Two claims last season.....bimini got ripped in a noreaster,and ran aground at end of season.....coupler went..both covered and paid for....but not anymore got notice yesterday.
Question is.........where to look for replacement Ins. and am I going to pay...

Finally put boat in sat morn 4am (tides),get to the ramp remove straps everything goes great..........take her for a quick spin.....seems to be running fine...gets up to temp.......cool !
But ,something in the back of my mind...
Has anybody tried SeaTows Sea Insure ? I'm using Northern Assurance now,annual premium $636.00
Called NBOA and was quoted $546.00
Then I got a letter yesterday from Sea Tow /Sea Insure ,so gave em a call and was qouted $486.00 for the same coverage
Plus, Northern and NBOA,limited my cruising to...
Youre rafted up w/a buddy,he's got a generator........Could He take his shore power cord and plug it into your boat and maybe run your lights and/or charge your batteries ??

Now that Ive got your attention.............Those of us with V berths,do you sleep w/your head towards the bow or towards the stern ?? I sleep w/feet to bow seems more roomy to my wife and myself...am curious if I am the only nut who does this .:huh:
this may have been asked before(did search, all that came up was diesel)but ,this is my first i/o ,my last boat was an outboard and i would always use racor filters and seperators wondering if i can use them on this boat? thanx in advance
