    So it turns out, if one of your spark plugs takes a crap, your motor will run like crap. I just pulled the old plugs and the ceramic came apart one of them. It just crumbled as I was taking it out. Nothing got in the engine and all of them looked good, little bit of carbon but nothing major...

    Wow, no one was posting in this thread anymore. Didnt notice new comments. :grin: I really couldnt tell you. The tool I had to compress the springs really sucked. Last 2 valves up against the firewall were inaccessable. The Jeep was lifted too. I dont really know, it was just a difficult job...

    Yeah thats what I thought originally. I replaced the valve seals on one of my Jeeps for the same reason. Not a fun task.

    Good points. I dont really know what constitutes "alot" of blowby. There is some though. Like a fine mist. She doesnt burn oil constantly. I actually need to check the level, I just changed the oil 3 days ago. As far as power, Im pretty sure, doesnt seem to be lacking in power anyway...

    Positive, she wasnt winterized last year. I want to agree with your choke theory but I cant see the choke causing that much hesitation and smoke. Its really like 15 seconds of hesitation and DARK smoke. Then, presto! Like someone flipped a light switch, its all gone and she purrs like a kitten.
