Out of a 1989 Sundancer 300. New block in Jan 2014. Approx 50 hours on engine. Located in Ruskin Fl at Little Harbor Marina. Removed from boat in January. $2400 (314) 484-6727
I live in St Louis and the boat is in Florida. I stay on it when I'm there so I need it back in the slip temporarily. I agree about the sand, and yes I want stern lower for proper bilge pump operation. Thanks for the input.
Have removed both motors from my Sundancer 300. I want to put it back in the water for now. What is the best thing to use for ballast? Any negative / positive thoughts on bags of playground sand from Home Depot?
I have a 5.7L 260 hp Mercruiser with aprox 25 hours. Replaced engine and manifolds in Dec 2014. Fully dressed and ready to put in your boat. I also have 2 full, front and back, Gimbal assemblies with trim tabs, lines, trim motors, and "Y" pipes. (They are not pretty because they have white...

I have a 1989 Sundancer 300. I am taking the engines out and I want to put it back in the water with just the stern drives on. What else do I have to do to make it float worthy? I have also heard I can buy plates to put on the inside to keep all water out.
Thanks
