    ZF 63 Port Noise

This is my second season with the boat and I noticed that the port drive makes more noise when in fwd/reverse gear than the stbd. Nothing scarey....no clunking, rattling or grinding. The surveyor never said anything about it so I didn't think anything of it. Now I sort of just want to know?

    8.1 Horizon Temp Increase

This weekend i noticed my engine temps were 6-10 degrees higher than normal, but still normal for a big block (did not go higher than 170). I usually run around 159. The 8.1 motors have the orange coolant therefore, i thought engine temp should always remain constant like a car does regardless...

Cabin Frig - No Compressor on DC

I have a 2005 340 sundancer and my cabin frigerator works well on AC, but on DC the compressor doesn't seem to kick on (batteries were replaced with AGMs last year). There is power to the frig on DC as the light is on. Anyone give any advice? Is this a possible short, if so how do I sniff it...

    ZF 630 V-Drive - Change Fluid/Filter

How many hours should I change the transmission fluid/filter in my ZF Vdrives? I looked in the sea ray manual and I didn't see it on the mtce schedule. Boat is a 2005 with 8.1s. Thanks!

    Westerbeke 7.5kw Model - 1200hrs

I am trying to purchase a 2002 360 sundancer with a 7.5kw gas generator with 1200 hours. I am being told that if properly serviced they can last 3k+ hours before a rebuild may be necessary. Does this sound right? Westerbeke said they need the model number to verify but i can't find it anywhere...

    2000 340 exhaust issues with v drives

Has anyone heard about water getting back into the motors on the 2000 340 sundancer (vdrives) if you back up to quickly? I am being told that from 1998-2002 there was a design flaw in the exhaust system that was corrected in 2003. Honestly this doesn't make sense to me

350 Merc Temp & Sync Gauges Not Working

My port engine temperature gauge on my 1988 Sundancer 300 is not correct. It's a 350 merc engine and I just had the water pump replaced and the gauge reads below 145 degrees when engine is warmed up. Should be around 150-170 like the starboard. How do I know if it's the gauge or the sender...

    Merc 350/5.7 gph

I recently bought a 1988 Sundancer 300 with twin 350's and alpha one drives. The motors have about 1000 hours on them, but appear to be well taken care of. I am wondering how many gph each engine will burn at crusing speed which seems to be in the 3200 rpm range? Thanks for your help!
