I usually go Friday's to get a spot close to the shore for my 4 legged friend. There is plenty of room in the harbor though, so Saturday morning would be fine. I think a lot depends on the weather.

How did you get the tinting correct? Once you had the color match what formula did you use to mix with the west 105 resin? I've never used before. Thanks.

I pulled it and went to west marine. They had what I needed. That was a few years back.

I got on their web site right away and ordered without issue. About $52 with shipping. Not certain why you're having an issue.

Short answer, yes. There is a rubber circular flange/gasket on back side of container which is placed over the vent hole. When the device is affixed to the boat securely with the suction cup mounts, the fuel spits out into the container. When done remove container carefully and pour excess...

Good info on the Vent Tender. Exactly like "No-Spill." I just purchased one as a spare. I like the way they link a lanyard to it so if it detaches from the boat, you wont's lose it. I have lost 1-2 of the originals over the years doing just that. I only have one left so timing here is good...

I know what you mean. Always best to fuel when it's cool before fuel in the tank expands during the heat of day. I find it does make a difference.

On occasion when going to the Vineyard or Nantucket, I would stop in Falmouth to purchase diesel from a tanker who sits at the inlet entry, to port, near a restaurant with dock. They use a truck which is customarily used for home heating fuel delivery. Talk about high speed. If you're not...

I use high speed pump frequently but also need to have a catch can over the vent as fuel sometimes blows out. For that reason I do not max out the fill volume but it's still a great deal faster than conventional pump. No extraordinary issues with racors. I did installed gauges on the racors...

I have had these go bad for no apparent reason. Perhaps swap out with a neighboring fuse to see if that will do the trick.

My local electronics guy (Dockside Electronics) mounted a Raymarine infrared reverse view camera on the back side of bridge top, on rail. It's height provides for a complete view of stern from port to starboard. It is interfaced with my MFD (Raymarine E-127) as a "back-up" camera. Due to the...

I discovered similar lights a few years back while dining at an outdoor restaurant. Took photo of label and found on Amazon. Even though I added two additional LED's to my radar arch, they don't provide enough while dining or playing cards on bridge. These things are great USB-C charging and...

What is the consensus for Onan 9kw genset oil? SAE 30 or 15W-40? I believe manual may recommend 15W-40, but I do not have it in hand at he moment. Thanks. UPDATE: Service manual specs attached. SAE30 is for 32F and up. 15W-40 allows for temps down to 10F with the same max temp ceiling...

Thanks for the info. I'm going to grab one this weekend and have at. I figured it would be a mess to cut. I was planning on using a reciprocating saw with fine blades to keep mess to a min. For the bottom I think I'd use 1/4" starboard. I did same when I installed NR740SS and it provide a...

Will do. If it does the trick, I'm going to do the center line of the bilge and all plywood which it what has chipped the most.

Thanks for the info. To be clear, the gelcoat was also used on the areas of plywood? Update: I just checked Spectrum's website, entered year of boat and color. Three options came up but only one which included Bilge. This appears to be it. 1437A SEA RAY BILGE OYSTER 05-19 SKU: 1437A-G...

Has anyone ever dealt with painting or refinishing/touching up the engine room and bilge areas? I was once told that gelcoat was used but then someone else mentioned epoxy. I'm not sure how either would work with the wood surfaces but the color is the same as the engine room floor/bilge area...
