The mail jeep just went by my house and he didn't even hit the brakes to stop in.

I paid to have a package delivered to the house.

But noooo its sitting at the post office waiting for me to pick it up. :smt013

I'd be happy if they did that. At least I would have my package today.
 
At least you know where it is, my wife had ordered her meds, they left them at someone else's house, thankfully that person was nice enough to bring them to her. We have found out that the person that screwed up got canned.
 
At least they have it! After the 3rd time I had a "delivered" package go missing, I decided to use other carriers whenever possible. FedEx is at my house 3-4x a week. They've never lost a package of mine, either has UPS.
 
Ok here is what was said when I called them..

Me. Good Morning this is Wayne you have my package waiting for me.

Her. Yes Wayne

Me. What does the address say on the box.

Her. 5**4 RT 5 ****** NY.

Me. What the heck is it doing there then.

Her. The driver said nobody was home.

Me. Bulls*it, I watched him drive by.

Her. I'm only going by what he said .. Click.

your gonna get more done by being calm and reasonable....ask for a Supervisor and don't curse at em...no matter how much they deserve it (and we all know they do)....remember....they ARE in control of your package.

You can decide if the hole is the reason for the service - or the service is the reason for the hole - any which way someone take the spade away from them :grin:

That's not good. My father in law is retired usps. I don't want them moving in with me! People stop paying online and get your bills sent to your house!!!!!!

I'm NOT gonna trust them with my bills. I'd be paying a fortune in late fee's. :smt021
 
It's ok Wayne - they're fine with bills. Not only do I get 75% of my own mail every day, but I get a piece that belongs to each of my neighbors too, you know - for extra coverage.

Seriously - I wouldn't know my the names of my neighbors, but because of the USPS, I know their names, taste in catalogs and where they do their banking.
 
I use USPS for packages all the time. No issues. House delivery service is first rate too.
 
After a nap and afew drinks, I'm not upset anymore. :smt001

My daughter Tracy is picking it up for me on her way home from work in the morning.

If you're wondering what it is.

Its a $140 camera/webcam/video recorder, I won for $10 bucks plus shipping from ebay.




PS, I was thinking about doing my snow cam again. :smt024

Would you guys check in on it, if I did ????.

Post the snow cam Wayne. It'll give us something to watch over winter.

I only use USPS to ship to Canada as their government post system is very much like ours. 10 bucks and I can send an average size knife anywhere on Canada. It still take 7-10 day for them to receive it but at least it gets there.

I used Fed Ex Expedited to ship some parts up for a class I was teaching 3 weeks ago. The class came and went and the parts are still setting in customs.

One of my knife customers sent me back a knife via UPS so I could custom make a sheath for it. Got the package but no knife inside. One corner of the package had been ripped open the knife was gone.

One of my wife's med shipment from USPS ended up at the neighbors too. They were kind enough to bring it to me.
They just arrested a mail carrier for not delivering hundreds of pieces of mail over a few months period due to a health issues. She just took it home and stacked it up. Did matter what it was, when she didn't feel like delivering she would just go home no matter where she was on her route.

Point is, anytime you add the human factor you are prone to have issues.

Glad you are getting your camera Wayne. Maybe you can wave at you carrier and snap their picture for us.:wow:
 
Well FedEx is even worse. Half the time my packages are left at another house (always different) blocks away. I like UPS the best for packages.
 
I sold a raymarine l760 with gps sensor and triducer on evilbay,the guy changed his mind the day i shipped with usps.He filed a claim with paypal against me to get his $ back and they gave it to him also after charging me 16 buck transaction fees,i have spent about an hour total on hold with paypal since then and still havent talked to a human.The shipping was refused when delivery was attempted and tracking says it is being returned to me ,but i cannot track the package past the point of his declineing delivery and its been over a week.I paid $29 for shipping and will most likely have to pay that again to get the package back,and still i cannot get off hold with usps to find out where the package is or how to retrive it.I may have to file a claim.What a hassle!!! UPS for me from now on.Oh then evilbay tried to charge me 52.03 for transaction and shipping fees also,so $120 for nothing but a pita.
