Scott, this one is genuine. It happened two years ago at the spillway of Lake McBride which dumps over into Coralville Lake near Solon, IA (its about 30 minutes from where I live) I believe the incident happened at night.

I found the pic while I was sorting some old albums. Thought we'd have fun with it. The only injury I'm aware of was a seriously trashed ego!
 
Hell, I had a hard enough time getting it posted to my thread! I wish I'd taken a picture of the cruiser just north of Lock 3 above Red Wing, MN when we were on our trip....that one was a hurtin unit for sure. The ER was below the water, the bow was up on a drift wood pile.

Kind of like this bozo. Once he realized he was ON the sand bar, decided to try and drive it off. He created a hole the size of a pickup bed behind his BIII's!!

I pulled it up so you could see.
I think I mounted my Bow Thrusters too high.
