Are you near Superior/Duluth?At my marina, west end of Superior... gas 5.949, diesel 5.549
About 50-60 miles east of there, Bayfield. Are you near Superior/Duluth?
Ah, got it. Friggin' cold up there.About 50-60 miles east of there, Bayfield.
Geez. Diesel is way more than regular around here. Regular today is 3.71. Premium 4.49. Diesel 4.49.
We can't even get fuel on the river anymore without going to another pool. The only dock in our pool was shut down by the PA DEP last year so only option for bigger boats is to fuel with gas cans.
Most at our marina fill up with portable cans. But our plan is we are selling the boat and moving on. Been 8 years and had lots of fun but time to move on.So what's your plan? Sounds like a lot sitting at the dock ... Bummer.
Ha. $40 is getting off easy. I think I am getting stuck in the $100 range at some fu fu place she "just has to" go.Fortunately, fuel cost doesn’t affect me as much as yall going to work every day. And we don’t have trucks so our cars are efficient enough that it really dont matter.
But Dam, $5 for a small bag of chips. And fast food or any food is crazy.
Local marina/tiki bar wants $40 per person for a mothers day brunch. For eggs, toast, some taters? Thats nuts.

@Pirate Lady With all due respect, but your points don't affect me at all as I don't eat potato chips, don't go to fast food restaurants, and don't take my mother to a tiki bar for Mother's Day brunch.Fortunately, fuel cost doesn’t affect me as much as yall going to work every day. And we don’t have trucks so our cars are efficient enough that it really dont matter.

I just hope that when people go to the polls this November, that they take their latest grocery store receipt with them to remind them whether or not they were better off four years ago or not.

This drives me nuts. I tend to over tip unless a server just down right sucks or is rude. But when they add the tip in automatically, I won't add another penny.Went out to eat last night. Prices seemed reasonable but there was a 'mandatory' 25% gratuity already factored into the check. The check had 3 'options' listed with the cost for each, 15%, 20% and 25% but you did not have the option to choose which one. The 25% was already totaled into your bill. Sort of funny as the tip turned out to be 8.58. I would have probably just left $10 so they actually lost out but I don't like the fact that they are making tips 'mandatory'
