How old a feller are ya?

66 here, Divorced. Have a 37 year old daughter and 12 year old grandson. Also have a precocious 22 year old 400 Sedan Bridge....

62 here. Married to my sweetheart since '83. We met in a motorcycle shop, of all places! @JayhawkCurtis, is it too late for you to turn this into a poll? I did the same with the Norton forum a few years ago, and it was interesting to see the spread. It looked like it was bimodal between people that grew up with Nortons (like myself) and 20-somethings that went looking for things they remember from their dads/uncles. I'd be curious to see where boat ownership lays.
Unfortunately I do not see how to change it to a poll after the fact, that was a great idea. I will keep a running tally and update it from time to time.

0-30 -0
30-40 - 2
40-50 - 2
50-60 -6
60-70 -5
Old balls -2 sorry @Jus Cruisin and @Gofirstclass

Do you use the boat by yourself?
No, I do not single hand her. My daughter is my crew most times. I single handed my 340DA but I cannot move down from the helm fast enough on the 400DB.

Interesting thread for sure. I am 44 and so is my wife. Married for 16yrs. 2 daughters, 11 and 14. My wife had never spent any time on a boat before she met me. Now we spend most of the summer staying on the boat and she loves it.

More no kids than I would have thought. If I didn't have those 5 daughters I wouldn't have had to drive around in that crappy, little 58DB. Dance lessons, gymnastics, travel soccer and lacrosse, Sweet 16's and weddings.....sheesh.

Was never really sure I wanted kids. Now I couldnt imagine my life without them. I know if the boat ever leaves the dock without them there would be hell to pay , they love their boat.

53, wife and I are high school sweethearts and married 32 years. Getting into boating kinda late but the wife and I wanted a jumpstart on retirement. I have one son and he is in college now.

51 and have been blissfully married for 21 years. Have one daughter who is turning 18 and are blessed, although we’re now dealing with college plans. I’ve lived all over growing up. IL, IN, OH, TX, S.CA and now MN for 27 years. Planning to be in N.W. WI in a year.

Makes sense. I used to handle the 2001 3780 Regal sedan bridge alone, but not often. And yes, running up and down the stairs was not fun.
