Mike: I think it's super shallow from vernita down around white bluffs and old town hanford. I fish at white bluffs and can't get further upriver in my 205. Depths down to 2-3ft... YMMV. Hope this helps. Perhaps the Whaler could make it but I only see jet boats try it.

Having had my 205 on those waters, I can vouch for GFC that there's a great many folks operating boats of all types (blow and power) out there that either don't know the navigation rules, ignore them, or are otherwise altered. People forget that rivers (even mighty ones like the Columbia)...

The cover has a cord that goes all the way around itself at the bottom that can be tensioned to be very, very tight. No straps needed between that and the HangTyte to keep the cover on.

Not 100% sure on them because I haven't used all of them, but Checkered Flag Marine is one within your range of hours, the other is Allison Marine in Kent which is 2-2.5h from Oak Harbor. Checking on another guy up in the Arlington/Oso area, don't have that info yet.
