    Need some Sundancer 270 advice

Hello Everyone, I've been looking for a 260 Sundancer as of late, but came across a 270 (built in 2000) that appears to have been very well maintained. It has 600 hours on the engine (my first concern), but has been dry stored each winter and has had annual maintenance without fail. I'm going...

    Boat Lifts

My slip is on a tidal river. Do you have any good information or experience with regarding to the floating drive-on systems? I was looking at boat blocks last week, but don't know of anyone who has used them and if they are good enough protection for winter storage.

    Boat Lifts

Hello Everyone! I own a slip in a marina with power and water at the slip. Wanted to see if anyone has input regarding boat lifts and their associated costs. I have a 25 foot slip and will not have a boat larger than 25 feet. After doing some research, I'm planning to put in a boat lift...

I've been doing my homework on dissimilar metals and corrosion. I'm aware of the dangers/risks associated with the issue and have a plan in place. Thanks for your comments.

SeaNile, Thanks for the information. I am already leaning toward the B3 drive, so this is comforting to hear. Of course, regular maintenance is key, but nice to hear that you have had good experiences in salt water with i/o motors/drives.

    Brackish water and i/o motors

Thank you for the advice. My boat will be left in the water for an entire season at a time....then pulled at a marina and put into storage each winter. I will ensure I have fittings for a flush even when it's in the water. I have done some reading on salt away and intend to use it. Thanks for...

Hello all. I am looking to buy a Searay soon and wanted to get some input regarding using and inboard/outboard in brackish water. I own a slip on an estuary which connects to the Chesapeake Bay. I don't have any plans to use the boat in the bay, but the river I am on does have some salt...
