    ? 2 12v batts in parallel ?

My current set up is like this- 1 battery on starboard side-It's #1 on the switch and starts starboard engine and runs house loads. I only use the swith in the #1 setting. 2 batteries on port side-One of them just starts the port engine. It is isolated from the rest of the system, not on...

    Striping replacement- paint or vinyl?

I recently took all the stripes off my 260 weekender. Took a long time but 3m sells a product just for this. It looks like a big eraser that attaches to a drill then you just rub it off. This weekend I'm gonna finish buffing above the rub rail then apply my new 2 inch vinyl. It is all a...

where to tie in for aux fuse panel?

No panel on the underside of deck, no breaker /fuse box anywhere. The switched leg off my 1,2,or off battery switch goes to engine/alternator and a wire harness that powers house loads and starboad instruments on panel. I did find the main #8 hot and ground that feed everthing behind the...

where to tie in for aux fuse panel?

the 20 amp circuit is #12 wire-good for 20 amps. But it just runs to # 1 battery-not good. I'll look for this panel this weekend and If I don't find it I think I'll run a #8 with 30A fuse right to baterry switch output. Does this sound like it will work?

where to tie in for aux fuse panel?

I have a 1,2 both or off battery switch. Is there a panel of some sort in engine compartment that the switched leg runs into?

where to tie in for aux fuse panel?

Does anyone have any idea where the main power junction is. I've got twins on my 260(see signature) so I have 3 batteries. One is dedicated port start only. The other 2 are on selector switch. When I bought the boat the cd radio was connected directly to my #1 battery( 20 amp fuse at battery of...

    bottom paint????

my boat has a blue coating of bottom paint. I think its an albalative as it will stain my hands blue if I rub it. It needs to be repainted. Is there a product that can go right over the old with minimal sanding?( just the peeling parts is all I would like to sand)
