Thank you for your response, nothing was mentioned about it during survey and sea trial, we had the drives pulled and everything was normal. Just wondering if we should have it looked during the off season?
We are a one season owner of a 1998 310 Sundancer with twin 5.7 Bravo III drives, can any one tell us if it is normal to have 1.5-2.5" of play in the steering wheel?

Purchasing a 1998 Sea Ray 310 Sundancer with twin 5.7 Bravo III, during the sea trial we found the engines would start normally, as soon as you shift into forward or reverse - either engine will stall intermittently.

Looking at a 1998 Sea Ray 310 Sundancer, the survey revealed the inner stringers had 20% and 22%. How concerned with this moisture level reading? Should we do core samples?
