Hey, where is the best place to find marine grade silicone to use for my drain plug gasket/housing?

Hey everyone, Well i have a question about replacing whole drain plug housing and all. Do I need to put some marine grade silcone between the plug housing and the boat fiberglass before putting the three screws back in? It is one of the brass units with the screw in plug.:huh:

I was right in the area of 30-33 MPH. I had 4 adults,2 teens. And a good chunk of gear!

So went to halls crossing, Lake Powell this weekend and had a good load in the boat, with a 14.25x21 prop ran 3900 RPM WOT. Took a while to plane but once it did ran nice, Tho I need to adjust pitch due to low RPM, Helped with Gas tho!!!:smt038

AWSOME! Scott, Thanks for the info it really helps knowing that you have the same boat and have been down there to Powell! So do the 4 and 5 blade props make a big difference compared to the normal 3 blade? Like I say I've only had the boat for 2 years so im still learning!! :thumbsup:

I have a 180 BR, on a single axle trailer with tire size ST 175/80/D13. I never load any weight in the boat aside from gas. How fast can I run down the interstate without worring about a blow out? Our speed limit here is 75MPH
