The crimped-on hose fittings on the blue and red water lines leak on my 05 48 sundancer where these lines enter the water manifold. I cut the ends of these crimped fittings off and replaced them with brass compression fittings and hose clamps. I will post a photo an the part numbers to follow...

I replace the sump pump and float switch on my forward sump, and cleaned it out immaculately. Thanks to all for the maintenance tips. My shake-down cruise to Watts bar was a blast!

I cleaned out my sump pump tank and find that my pump works but the float switch is not functioning, even in manual override. Should I replace both? How do you turn the sump power switch off on the main breaker panel in the engine room; I cannot toggle the switched to the off position. 48...

Yes, it is the sea ray systems monitor to the right of the helm, next to the fire alarm systems monitor. It displayed the message I posted, and sounded an emergency alarm. I'll find the forward sump and clean it. It seems logical that is the issue since it alarmed after each of two hot showers...

I had an alarm sound on my 48 sundancer. It had an LED display that read "pump alarm, forward sump." This was after two hot showers. Is the sump pump clogged? How do you clean it? Should I use a chemical like Draino?

I am planning on cruising from Knoxville to Watts Bar. Any suggestions to make our cruise uneventful? We were considering tying off overnight at Euchee.
