hey sashton I had the same problem on my 1995 250 sd when I added a anchor roller I ended up enlargeing the hole in the locker door to let the chain hang into the locker i used a 1-3/8 inch holesaw then a saw to make a u shaped hole for the chain then used a gelcoat repair kit to repair the...

the install was pretty easy i had to drill the holes in the roller you need a new drill bit to drill stainless steel. i needed a helper to hold nuts under the deck from the anchor locker with a socket wrench taped to a 2 foot rod

chazaroo I went with a winline URM-3 from west marine I installed it today it looks cool I am still thinking about the chain issue I was using 5/16 chain I had a piece of 1/4" chain it still wont let the door close but I think Ill switch to the1/4" anyway

the door is fiberglass I dont want to use a pipe fiting like that because I open the door when hauling up the anchor and lay the line in the locker by hand

I am installing a new anchor roller on my 1995 250 sundancer I am wondering what to do with the door on the anchor locker to let the anchor chain into the locker when the anchor is stored on the roller there is a hole in the door big enough for rope but not chain has anyone any advice?
