I am replacing the engine on my 2005 260 Sundancer. I have been offered two options: (a) a new 350MPI 300HP raw water cooled MerCruiser; or (b) a remanufactured 383MPI 350HP fresh water cooled Black X MerCruiser. I operate my boat in the ocean, but it is kept out of the water when not in use...
