Wakeup 19
At chance you could share contact info for your installer. As you may remember I bought Frank French's boat Fire & Ice out of your club a few years ago and it's time for a new floor. Yours is looking great. I am over at Watertown YC , hopefully within his distance. Thanks

North shore,
try American Marine they have a lot of marine window parts including pages of rubber gaskets and trim. As I remember the windsheild rammer is part # 717. At about half the cost of Taylormade. I can't speak to quality just passing along some info I came across.

Two recommendations to consider, we stayed at Danvers Port Yacht Club (which is actually a Marina) for 5 years and were very happy with it. Very social marina and includes pool tennis and a restaurant on site. The downside is the 35-40 min. ride down river to beverly Harbor. If you want to avoid...

yes they do. Couple of years ago I bought 4 sets for under $100. Basically s SS flat rod with a hook on each end. One goes over rail and the other through the end of the fender. You will end up with the fender parallel to the rail and if you carry 4 fenders you may have some sight line...

Who are you using for the install ? and please let us know how it comes out. I am debating carpet vs wood and can't decide which way to go.
Thanks
I was in BJ's yesterday and came across a Coleman inflatable for $499. Aluminum floor, rated for 5hp and 16 inch tubes. naturally it's PVC but appears to be well made. This is very close to "if its too good to be true" category. I also heard that Coleman & Sevlor have merged so that could be a...
Just bought a Garmin 300 fish finder on a close out for next to nothing and it came with a transom mount transducer. I thought about mounting it next to the drain plug, thinking the prop pockets would minimize turbulence. Most of our boating is in a fresh water river with no charts available. I...
coop,
check your distributer. I had a similar problem in the fall just before layup only mine would shut down completely. When the yard winterized the mechanic replaced points and problem solved. His explanation was that the heat of the engine changed the setting, that and some rust was enough...
Scorpio,
Bending the Allure is a pretty simple process. I have a heat gun for removing paint that I used to heat it and then set in place. Holding it for a minute or so lets it cool unough to hold the shape. If you ever try that make sure you wear gloves! I also suspect that the heat from the...
After following the carpet to Allure thread I thought I would try a slightly different application and try it on my dash. My boat is afflicted with the late 80’s Sea Ray burgundy/mauve color scheme and I am attempting to eradicate it whenever possible. I know there are a lot of issues with...
As expected things are not moving in this economy but it sounds like you need a new broker not trying it yourself. Believe me I hate handing over 10% as much as anybody buy at the $110000---$115000 level you need pro.A good one will walk the prospect through the process while eliminating...
