Windshield snap placement 2005 Weekender 225

Just wanted to add another word of thanks. I applied everyone's advice/technique to my new camper top. Went on great, though the only drilling was for rear bimini supports. Thanks again!

    Raritan/SH/Lower Bay Winds

When I travel across from Sandy Hook to NY (and back), what are my best wind directions and can someone explain... I am assuming it would be from my aft, but please educate me. Thanks

Hi From The Navesink - NJ

Ha. Yes, Some still do. That whole area is a beautiful, wooded park now - lot of mountain biking. We used to go through the old bunkers when I was in high school in the late 80's. I grew up on the river myself, Love it. :) Alvin, I'll PM - kids would be happy with some playmates.

Hi From The Navesink - NJ

I meant he went in at high - picture is at low tide, he commited himself to a 12 hour day. Sounds good, Will do.

    Exhaust Vent Cover

Thanks very much, I was going to file away at the old seal to give the new adhesive place to grab hold of.The old seal is rock hard, almost like grout, so I am guessing it was meant to be permanent.

    Exhaust Vent Cover

Hi guys, Appreciate a little assistance with a repair. I have a 2005 Weekender 225, I realized a couple weeks ago that one of my vent covers became "unseated?" The seal on the two edges is no longer holding and it can now flip up (toward the inside of the boat, the long edge still holds). The...

Hi From The Navesink - NJ

My sentiments exactly. I was told a shot straight from Seastreak - wrong. I cut up on an angle and used followed my gps/chart at high tide. If you go to google map it will show the low water better than what I posted. First time I went straight like someone told me and had to get out and push of...

Hi From The Navesink - NJ

Thanks rcknecht. Alvin, that is actually at Skeleton Hill Island at the entrance to Spermaceti Cove: http://www.bing.com/maps/default.aspx?q=40.419312%2c-73.991983&mkt=en&FORM=HDRSC4 A great place to go because of the steep drop, you can back right up to the island. Fills up quick on the...

    horn question

I put a car horn in, just drilled a hole that is hidden under the ss cover. If it goes bad I can pick another up at the junk yard for under $5. The benefit is not only cost, but another boat can actually hear it!

Windshield snap placement 2005 Weekender 225

Thanks again... I should have said tough, but much better in the long run. The tough part was bringing the canvas down - but it certainly maid it easier in the long run.

Windshield snap placement 2005 Weekender 225

Well once again thanks! It was tough getting them set in the front with the back already snapped, but all went well. Only wound up with one rough hole (completely covered by the snap) and the rest were spot on. I will replace a few of the old male ends aft - I realized that even after lubing or...
