I have a 1988 265 Sedan Bridge that has twin 205's. The issue is that it has two boxes in the engine bay that run to the outdrives that have "Mercury Electric Shift" on them. (the boxes are connected to the outdrives via the lower shift cables) Does anyone know anything about these things?

I have one with twin 205's (1988). Have you guys ever had issues with the lower shift cables? (I have just replaced mine and I am getting ready to attempt the final adjustments).
