Quality Time Looking at replacing my sump box for the showers, etc. I remember you mentioned upgrading to the SuperSump tank, 2 gallon. How has this worked for you and assume you had to manifold some of the drain lines together? Thanks No Plans

Check your pneumatic accumulator tank. If the bladder is ruptured, it will not hold pressure on the system and allow the pumps to rest. Mine has a 2 gallon and when I turn the faucets on, the pumps do not come on immediately. Mine was located on the starboard side behind the hot water heater...

Check the freshwater tubing, connectors. I had the same issue and found a "T" connector(cold) feeding the hot water-heater/ freshwater pumps had a slow drip. I also had the same leak feeding water to the forward bilge in the engine room from the starboard stern. Took me a long time to find...

    460 Sundancer newbie with questions

Our 480 has a Pneumatic Accumulator tank that holds the pressure on the water system When we purchased the boat the pumps ran quite often. I found the tank was ruptured and was not holding pressure on the bladder. I found the tank, replaced it and now the pumps don't work near as much. Ours...

Cherman We replaced the transmission on the port engine, 1998 480 and did not need to remove the corner cabinet. Must be a design change with the newer 480's.

Matt Go to post 571 and there are pictures of the bar removed, just found them. Lady Taz donated them back then.

Matt You only need to remove the bar which is held in place by a few screws, and move it forward in the galley area. We did our aftercoolers last year.

Quality Time Have you had any issues with this sump unit, I'm at the point of making a change? If not, would you still recommend the 2 gal unit? Thanks NP

Cheramn I had the leak and luckily no damage. The culprit; water coming in around the isinglass and running down beside the helm, onto the wires that were routed into this area for the TV, etc. I scooted under the helm through the small drop-down door on the starboard side during a storm and...

We have a 1998 and it had Marvels, Freezer on left, Refrigerator on right. Replaced both with sub-zero's. Left unit has ice-maker in the freezer area. New sub-zero's are nice, but can be contrary at times with all the digital read-outs, too much info at times.

Does anyone have the optional intercom system? We are updating the phones and noticed we have an extension for the engine room and have not been able to locate the connection for the phone in the engine room. Thinking I will need to find the main junction/switch box and pull an extension, if I...
