It’s confirmed the generator will NOT come out of my 1998 290 Sundancer W/5.7 with port engine in place! Even with manifold, remote oil filter and power steering reservoir moved.

Exactly what I was afraid of! I was hoping I could remove manifold, remote oil filter and get lucky.

Looking to add a windless to my 98 290 Sundancer. Hopefully someone has a junk boat that I can buy windlass, solenoids, wiring and such.
