Not to threadjack, but these are interesting thoughts which makes me have to ask what the 'normal' temp should be for my 2005 180 Sport? From that little I have used it so far, it looks to normally be around 165f-170f. Does this sound 'normal'?

I have a new to me 2005 Sea Ray 180 Sport. I just picked it up and will be gathering required safety gear tonight to try and practice launching. There is a drain plug in the transom under the motor that is wired and is steel with a square head to tighten. I was impressed at the snap-out...

Thanks Brian, Actually I am from Wheatfield...will do MOST boating at our place in Canada near Bocaygeon, but plan on Niagara River, Erie Canal and MAYBE Lake Ontario when calm. My wife teaches in Lockport...small world!

Hello!! I purchased a 2005 Sea Ray 180BR Sport today and cannot wait to pick it up...needed to order a trailer with it as the old owner did not have one. We took it out and out it through the ringer...NICE BOAT! That's it and I look forward to reading what others have doen to their boat...
