Hi, any ideas how to unblock the loo? It is only solids & sea loo paper. Would a plunger help? Thank you for any replies. Paul & Melanie

    A/C

Hi, thanks for your replies. When I turned the panel on, I selected heat, I set the temp @60deg, it was flashing 53deg. The fan was blowing, & the air coming out was cool, but not cold. After approx. 5 minutes the A/C unit was flashing up A/C low. How arm do these units blow? Thanks for any...

    A/C

Hi, can anyone please tell me if the A/C just needs re-gassing, or is this going to be expensive? I went down to our boat today to put the air/con on low to keep the interior from freezing, but the unit was flashing A/C low. Any advice would be gratefully received. Thanks in advance Paul &...

    Mackerel bashing

Hi all, we had a brilliant day out today, mackerel bashing, we caught over 100 but brought 30 home for the freezer. Weather was excellent 22deg C, hardly a breeze & relatively no swell. Wish everyday could be like that, then we could get out more often. So here a pic, we are just off Beachy...

    What is it?

Hi everyone, on my 270 sundancer when you go to get in the bed under the cockpit, there is a piece of angled metal. It is stretching over the mattress by about 4 inches, it has a threaded hole in it. As far as I can see it serves no purpose, but it would certainly do you some damage if you sat...

    Weather

It certainly looks nice & calm there my friend. We moved from Bonny Scotland as it always rained, but here it's always too windy & rough seas. Grrrrrrr

    Weather

Yes my friend, they are limestone cliffs. We were slightly west of Beachy Head, famous for people throwing themselves off. The wife took 1 picture behind us, then the other in front. Even we couldn't understand the difference in the weather. Not good weather for going out his week, gales &...

    Weather

These 2 pictures were taken yesterday as we travelled from Newhaven to Brighton UK. The difference is incredible, but typical of British weather.

    Mrs Pugwash

Hi everyone, we went down to the boat early as it has been a bad week for going out due to the remains of the hurricane. It was an almost perfectly flat calm day, so I decided to let the wife (Melanie) have a go at steering.

    Walnut dash

Hi everyone, I have recently purchased a Sea Ray 270, it is a 1998 sundancer. There is walnut on the top of the dash where the clocks are sited, & where the switches are. I was wondering if you can get a piece of the walnut to put in between them in the long recess, where the radio is fitted...

    1st time out

No, not always, it was quite rough though. The wife hasn't got her sea legs yet, so I don't want to put the fear of god into her. Winds were 20mph & rising, swells of around 1.5m, it certainly rocked the old girl about. It's going to be rough again this weekend, so I might just do a bit of...

    1st time out

Good morning, Newhaven is on the South coast of the United Kingdom, situated between Eastbourne & Brighton. Waves were 1.5m at the entrance to the harbour. Yes I will post pics of us enjoying the boat with friends & family. Safe&happy boating Paul & Melanie
