I to had issues with my trim switches and I finally replaced them last weekend along with my bellows and other items. Maybe you guys can help me....I have a Faria trim gauge that has slash marks on it to indicate where the trim postion is. My question is when you are trimmed all the way up/out...

My Mercruiser manual says I should use Quicksilver 4 cycle Marine engine oil (SAE 40W, SG or CD).I can't find this stuff anywhere. It also says that in the event I can't find the 40w, I could use a 20W-40 (SG or CD). Would anyone know if there are more up-to date oils that could be used inplace...

This is what i have.

The above pic has the finger facing away from the boat. Mine has the fingur bent towards the boat and away for the skis.

Yes the ropes I have, have loops in the end. If I do what do descride the little figure in the middle of the hock is facing the wrond way and the loop willl slide off. The figure faces back towards the boat.

Silly question for someone.. I have a 175 with a round ski tow on it. Does anyone have a picute of how the rope should be attached to it? Thanks in advance!
