I have a 2005 30 DA with original electronics. Last year the depth gauge would read 17 feet then nothing. Cleaned the thru hull transducer before this year's splash. Now all I get are dashes on the gauge. Any suggested fixes while I'm in the water? Any way to check to see if the transducer is...
Thanks for the reply. Checked that out already. Bravo III has a prop with no hub. Sits directly on the spline coming out of the outdrive. Wish it would have been that easy.
Just splashed my SD30. Took it slow for a bit of a break in. Gave it gas to reach plane and it did. Slowed down for traffic and bridges, gave it gas and couldn't reach plane. Starboard engine seemed to be OK hitting about 3300 rpms, but Port side raced up to 4500 rpms and couldn't get out of the...
I got down into the bilge this afternoon and found the three sending units on the holding tank. Each sending unit registers at a different level. Seems if you pry the plastic sender unit out of the rubber washer first, then pry out the rubber washer from the tank, there's enough bend in the...
Thanks for the replies. Somewhere along the line it was mentioned that if you add, possibly a dish washing tablet, into the tank and run the boat for a couple of trips, the agitation could possibly clean the sensor. Less messy. I'm just not sure if it was the tablet or some other form of cleaner.
I have a 2005 30' DA with Smartcraft electronics. The digital fuel read out just doesn't work. I and my mechanic have tried to reset but without any luck. Question 1: Could or has anybody had any experience in just connecting a new dial type fuel gauge to to the tanks? I would not disconnect...
Thanks for the confirm. I'll be on board tomorrow. I don't think its marked as such. If I remember from last season, it may have some red markings on it.
Just splash my 30' Sundancer. Marina tells me two of the four batteries are shot but I could crank both engines using the "Parallel Battery Switch". He couldn't tell me exactly where it was on the dash but it was there. There is a third toggle on my dash next to both of the start engine toggles...
I had no water pressure to the internal system (sinks, head, etc.) the last week of the summer. Traced the lines back to the 28 gal tank. I found that the 17" pick-up tube broke off in the tank & the 90 dgree elbow broke off where the plastic pipe leads to the pump. Not sure why they broke, but...
My guages are fine & my outdrive oil level is where it should be. I'll have to check the senders & wiring to see if that helps. Do you know the location of these specfic senders? I'm sure I could find the guage senders, but if they are two separate systems, I would want to check the ones that...
