We just got back from a week on Lower Matecumbe Key, Islamorada, Florida. We did some fishing but not a lot of catching I had my QuadCopter and Gopro with me. Here are some photos.
We were going to try to get to the Dry Tortugas also. After starting to plan it I was not comfortable with the fuel quantity (65 gallons) of our 240 SunDeck. You have to answer some questions before we can help you:
Is the bottom painted?
Was the bottom painted when it was new and could do 42-43 MPH?
Is the bottom clean?
What was the max RPM when it could go 42-43 MPH.
What is the max RPM now?
Has it had a compression test done lately?
