Hello, have you guys used the Penzoil Marine Fuel system Stabilizer & Cleaner? It says keeps the fuel fresh. Usually I use a different brand.. Didn't know if these stuff is recommend. Going to use my boat probably one more time for the year and then cover it for winter and do my maintanence.

I took my boat out for the first time last weekend. Make sure your battery is charged. I live in CA where it does not get very cold, so my checklist is not probably not as big. My boat stays in the garage. My list that I can remember was I checked the battery, all motor fluids, electronics...

Where I live, it is the oaks and grasses that kill people with allergies. We get a little of that yellow pollen floating around, but not a lot of it.

Thanks! Started up first time :smt038 Muffs stayed on nicely. I turned the hose on a little bit at first and then a little more after engine started.

I took a look at my outdrive in detail. Those 6/7 holes lined up straight is where I put the muffs at? Just want to be sure. They look like a vent. Thanks!

I bought a pair of ear muffs to change the oil and start up my boat before taking it on the water this weekend. Just want to make sure all is working now before finding out on the dock:) I have a 2001 Sea Ray 180 with the 3.5 Merc. The directions were not too good that came with them...

Was wondering if there was an proper to start the boat on dry land? Just want to make sure it will start right up before I take it on the water. I have heard before about hooking up water hose to mimmick being on the water. It would be on for only a really short time Thanks, Jeff 2001...
