We have a 1987 as well .. out of Sandusky Ohio.. great boat .. doing salon carpet this spring and a good clean up and ready for water .. boat has 1900 hours and motors run like new yet and use no oil.. great boat...

Talked with a few guys , they are saying to use 5200 on first sheet of plywood to transom, then glass the rest ?? what does everyone think??

The 260 is a great motor for this boat buy a 16 by 16 prop for it it will 40mph and cruise around 28mph and burn about 8 gallon an hour..

Thanks for all the updatess , I got everything out and going to start grinding this week , hopefully be glassing over the weekend ... so far not a bad project, had both motors and gimballs out in about 6 hours....
