Have a 2004 240 Select with a 350 Mag, I live in southern Illinois, boat will be stored inside where the temp will probably not see below 40'ish...
How do you all winterize your boats?
I have a '04-240 Select, I am wanting to install a marine radio, just in case....where we boat we have cell coverage, but you just never know.....my questions are...
Where do you all think the best place is to mount the radio, I am thinking in the gutter in front of the speaker (see pic)...
That's what mine is showing, didn't know what it should be, first time out this summer, always freaks me out..
Thanks for the information....
Happy Boating:grin:
Tried the search and couldn't find anything....
What is the normal operating water pressure for a 350 mag and a Bravo III on a 2004....boat is staying cool, just wondering...
Thanks,
I use a Richter anchor for my 240 Select....we boat in the river and the lakes....kind of best of both worlds....mine is the 25#, a little heavy but we only carry one!

We love it, roomy, and VERY stable.........I love the way it handles the rough waves...a buddy of mine has a 220 Sundeck with a 5.0, 24p props, he outran me for about 5 miles or so on the Ohio river....played with the trim tabs and the trim, never could catch him, read 47 on GPS....I did get him...
Mine has the swim platform bolted to it as well.....my speedo is pretty close to the GPS I have, let me see it I can find a picture of the swim platform...
It does have a small porta pooper in it, never tried to get in it, don't know if I want to or not
The speed was observed with the Cuda 250 (gps) on the dash.....so the numbers should be correct:thumbsup:
We always stay at Crystal Dunes, on old Scenic 98, right on the beach.....always hit Fudpuckers (not the best food, but kids love it), The Backporch and The Crab Trap....seafood, seafood and more seafood......you cant beat the beaches, white and fluffy!
I have seen threads on other boats, but have not seen any on the 240 Select, so here it is:smt038
I had a fish-n-ski before the 240, was the perfect boat until getting diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, affecting mostly my wrists and feet. I was no longer able to fish for an extended time...
I have read the threads about this, and I am still confused...doesn't really take much:smt021
I am wanting to connect an iPod to the radio using the RCA inputs in the back of the radio. Does anyone know what connector cables I need for this, I would like to use the docking slot (not the...
