Hey Dave,
That's my seat!!!
Plan to definitely bring this up to dealer, but I was looking for a little public opinion before doing so.
Had a 2002 Chapparal before this boat and the "bolster" seat was fantastic for 6 years (and I weigh 255 lbs).
We own a brand new '07 230 Select......about 16 hours on it now.
As the primary driver, I use the flip-up seat about 99% of the time. I've already noticed that the padding "slips" around and I find my rear end to be sitting on a steel crossbar.
Has anyone else experienced a similar...
We were cruising across the lake yesterday at 27 mph and 2 people sitting on the rear couch/sun lounger.
Don't think that's recommended, but it worked fine.....lake was pretty smooth.
Guys and gals......the "perfect pass" is worth every penny and then some! What a relief as a driver to not...
So far we are loving.....
The flip couch feature
The front seats are on hinges, making underneath access much easier than seats that fit into slots
The Bravo III Magnum 300 HP.....enough said
The tower is so tall you never have to worry about bumping your head and I'm 6'2"
The...
Let me get some shots of it "on the lake".....maybe "action shots". Then I can pick a nice one for the signature.
I'll also try to include my "perfect woman", who was the driving force behind the financial negotiations!!!
And no sister
Thanks Wesley.......I will post some more pics...
Don't know the cost yet
'07 230 select w/ Bravo Mag Mercruiser
Fresh water lake (Medina).....South Texas.....new lake house and boat dock.......boat will be on a "boat floater"........probably put 80 hrs per year on it
Bought the boat.....being delivered this afternoon. It's black and to my surprise it's the Bravo Mag at 300 hp, not 260 hp.
Will take some pics this weekend.......any quick advice on how to post pics?
Thanks for that advice. On Searay.com you cannot "build" and price a 230.....not sure why......but you can a 220.
My dealer has a 220 for 4K less than the 230. I am not interested in the 220, but I used that as a guide, adding 4K.
Anyway, MSRP + options already on the boat = 59K...
We test drove it today.......so we got 45 minutes or so in it. Pulled my 12 yr old around in a tube from the tower....He loved it (he is an extreme tuber...if there is such a thing)
My lake neighbor has a 2005 Select 220 and I really felt like this was a LOT more boat......especially inside...
Considering one right now......46K.......lots of nice features...... perfect pass, tower, Bravo 3 w/dual props, "couch" seating in the back facing the rear of boat (to be used when stopped or putting around), 260 hp, sirius
It's my understanding that the 220 Select is being phased out. I...
