Difinattly a monster challange moving somethings that large. Glad it went well for you and good luck with your new venture.
We're down on Normandy and haven't been up your way yet. Looks like a great place so, we'll see if we make there maybe next year.

Today's forecast is for a high of 70 so, I'm hoping to get out for a few hours this afternoon. Still undecided about winter storage as I've seen guys out in Bass Boats in February in my lake.

Not missing that. We lived on the south shore of Lake Erie before relocating to southern middle Tennessee a few year ago. The difference isn't as much as I thought it would be. Just checked my weather app and it's currently 34 degrees here and 36 in Sandusky, OH. Current forecast for later this...
It could be "dumping", the carb, that is. When the engine is warm, look down the carb for dripping fuel aka "dumping" . If this is happening, you either have dirt stuck in the needle & seat or your float is adjusted incorrectly. The only way to fix this is to take the carb apart and clean out...

The only addition to the boat was a Garmin ehcoMAP 43db fish...
Yes, it seams odd, seeing that the main lake is only 8 miles long. This info was from the TVA web site and they must somehow calculate the legs into the overall length.

If you have time you may want to check out the Lake Erie islands, Sandusky, Port Clinton. These are heavy boating attractions.

Not really! 17-mile with 72 miles of shoreline and I can use it 27 out of 30 days a month, nine months out of the year. Lived on the shores of Lake Erie for 25+ years and know I could never do that on that BIG lake. We also have three larger lakes within an hour and a few more less than two...
