This is what I do, I disconnect the water supply from the ice maker, let it run till no more ice is made, shut power off, defrost, wipe it down and leave the door open.
I store my boat out side and never had any issue with mold.
Dave
There is a product called "Mold Armor" it works well I've used it on the head liner in my boat and took it right off just follow directions and no issue.
we bought it at The Home Depot I think.
Good luck

I see your point with the subzero, my ice maker is a stand alone witch makes it a lot easier. I also by pass the hot water tank then blow out all the fresh water lines with air and leave all the faucets open but I do add pink to the fresh water pump.
Dave
Running Pink through the ice maker ???? what does an ice maker do it makes ice. disconnect water line from ice maker, let it run till it doesn't make ice any more, defrost and done as per owners manual of my ice maker.

The pressure sensor switch has a cores thread and a big fat O-Ring on it, mine backed off once and caused cycling of the pump I just tightened it back up and it was fine. I too have replaced duck bills more often that bowl seal.
Dave
I replaced mine about five years ago and bought it from McMaster Carr, it is the same exact thing as OEM and it even came with a quick disconnect plug kit, I think it was around $200.00

Are they the round recessed lights with a chrome ring? if they are just rotate the chrome ring counter clockwise and they should come off. Pictures would help to see what kind you have.
Hope this helps.
Dave
Yes, please post some pictures. I have a 1990 350 EC that I would love to do that to. I would like to see how you attached and supported everything. or e-mail dhjarry@gmail.com

Well I went with the Pettit Hydracoat, WM had it on the shelf so that made it easier. I hope I made the right choise I'll post on how it went on and in tha fall I report on how good or bad it worked for my conditions.
Thanks for all the replys and good info. I still am going to keep an eye on...
Wow, thanks for all the good info. I think I have narrowed down my choices to Hydracoat and Supershipbottom. Amazon.com sells Hydracoat probibly cheaper than WM and I'll call Supershipbottom for pricing also.
I'll post my decision.
Thanks again,
Dave
