Getting ice maker ready for storage

This is what I do, I disconnect the water supply from the ice maker, let it run till no more ice is made, shut power off, defrost, wipe it down and leave the door open. I store my boat out side and never had any issue with mold. Dave

    Bypassing Hot Water Heater

I see your point with the subzero, my ice maker is a stand alone witch makes it a lot easier. I also by pass the hot water tank then blow out all the fresh water lines with air and leave all the faucets open but I do add pink to the fresh water pump. Dave

The pressure sensor switch has a cores thread and a big fat O-Ring on it, mine backed off once and caused cycling of the pump I just tightened it back up and it was fine. I too have replaced duck bills more often that bowl seal. Dave

    Bottom Paint Suggestions

Wow, thanks for all the good info. I think I have narrowed down my choices to Hydracoat and Supershipbottom. Amazon.com sells Hydracoat probibly cheaper than WM and I'll call Supershipbottom for pricing also. I'll post my decision. Thanks again, Dave
