    Getting Underway

Yes, Onset is a nice spot! It's located just at the west end entrance to the cape cod canal. We were heading out into Buzzards Bay by way of Hog Island Channel. The Green Can marks the entrance into Onset. If you are coming in keep a watch on the current as you are rounding --- depending on...

    Cracked Bilge Pumps

Thanks Dennis, I'm thinking the same. I do most of my own service and I may have inadvertently bumped them. But it's happened twice now, that's what puzzled me. Well, it's a pretty easy fix. Thanks again!

    Cracked Bilge Pumps

I have had problems on my 2008 48 Sundancer with my bilge pumps cracking. This has happened twice, and both times I found small cracks along the base. It's possible I may have bumped the aft units when doing service, but it's unlikely I struck the fore unit ahead of the battery box. Any thoughts?

Currently have a 10 year old pair of Fujinon 7x50 and are ready...

Pic's will be coming, she launches this week. Will post them soon. Power is Cummins QSC 8.3-540 Diesel's. No Zeus drives on our boat, the 44 has them as an option. Interestingly, our dealer actually felt they aren't worth getting. Who knows, functionally they seem pretty cool to me. We loved...

Sounds great, will be happy to list features, but I'm not so certain much has changed since '06. Our boat is pretty well optioned out, as I'm sure yours is as well. Didn't opt for the TNT lift....ran out of money :)

    48 Sundancer

The admiral and I traded up this past fall to an '08 48 Sundancer. Needed more room for our two grand kids. We were seriously leaning towards the 44, but once we previewed the 48, the game was over. We take delivery in two weeks. We can't wait to cruise her this summer. Glad to hear others are...
