When I bought my 270 a few years ago, the wood insert on the table was warped and cracked. I took it off and gave it to a craftsman to have it repaired and have the name of the boat in-layed.
Well the guy hasn't gotten to it and he seems to to remember where it is. So I need a new wood...
I just noticed this on my '96 270, I initially thought the line was ran through the rollers wrong, but it's not. I chipped the fiberglass on the inside edge of the pulpit opening. I have been looking for a stainless or other protections for this area.
Did you ever install the poly planar stereo? I am looking at the MRD85I instead of a Fusion in 700 I due to cost but I have never found anyone that has installed poly-planar. How do you like it?
Frank, we just bought our second 96 270 and this one has similar problems as yours. The port wiper pops the fuse, I have a bad wiper motor I haven't found an exact replacement yet. I will pull it for the winter and see if it can be saved. I need to replace the water heater, very simple job...

I am purchasing another 270 DA (8'6" beam) that had the rear camper enclosure, but is not with the boat currently. I am looking for the frame and canvas from the bimini back, having the boot would be nice as well. The existing canvas is blue.
No, it was a nice boat, he traded it in for somehting bigger.
Two boats is enough for me. I still have my 19.6' Mako center console. I hate having problems like this :grin:
