    Opinions on 91-97 370 Sedans

Thanks for the responses. I would love to have a diesel powered 370 or 400 but with twin 1 year old boys the funds aren't available for the initial purchase right now. We plan on cruising no more than 75 miles from our home port on Aquia Creek off of the Potomac. Plus the boat is being offered...

No one owns or has owned a 370?

    Opinions on 91-97 370 Sedans

I am looking at a few different boats to buy but all are 370 Sedan Bridges of various ages. My cousin works for a fiberglass repair shop that does a lot of core and transom replacement projects in Deale, MD on the bay for older boats and he told me that these boats are notorious for wet cores...

We just had twin boys in Jan so the boat has to go. Diapers and formula costs more than filling up the boat!

I have a 2002 280 for sale with 300 hrs on one motor and 20 on the starboard side (was replaced last year). Only asking $42k for mine. It's located on the Potomac River in Woodbridge VA. PM me for more info. It also has brand new black Sunbrella canvas too.

Model and size for 02 280DA galley fridge?

The door and seal on my small fridge in the galley of my 2002 280 dancer is warped and wont close correctly. Now every time I use the fridge the ice box freezes up with a huge block of ice then melts which has discolored the carpet below the fridge. Not sure if i should try to get a new door...

    The Potomac

I'm on the Occoquan as well. As you head out of the Occoquan and pass Belmont Bay Marina to your starboard side.... you'll round the first set of markers and pass a small island on the left. As soon as you see the next red marker you can hang a left and be in Belmont Bay. Any given summer...

Actually MikeHyde was interested in my boat (the poster above mine) but he opted for a boat with T 4.3's... I'll never let you live it down, Mikey! LOL

    Official 280 Sundancer Thread

I love my 2002 280 but its time to sell her. I'm looking at upgrading to a 42 or 46 foot Post Marine sport fish. Need something bigger to go offshore and diesels for the fuel economy... If anyone knows anyone that is interested in a nice 2002 280, let me know. I'm only asking $52,000k for it...

New Sea Tech Fitting on Hot Water Heater Leaking

According to my Sea Ray Dealer (Prince William Marine) they said they don't sell rebuild kits for the 3.0 gpm pumps... is that true. They were quick to give me a price on the replacement pump though... $112.

New Sea Tech Fitting on Hot Water Heater Leaking

Well for one.. you have a different model boat than I do. Mine is not threaded coming out of the heater. It's a round piece of copper tubing that's about a two inches long. Hence the compression fitting that has been installed on it since the boat was new and since it just failed. I redid...

    water pump instulation

This thread just inspired me to install a raw water washdown in my 280 Sundancer. I'm going to tap into the AC inlet line as everyone mentioned and install the nozzle and hose in my transom locker. Great idea!

New Sea Tech Fitting on Hot Water Heater Leaking

I'll try it tonight and see how it works out. I have some teflon tape onboard so I'll give it shot.

New Sea Tech Fitting on Hot Water Heater Leaking

According to Sea Tech's site... teflon tape is acceptable for threaded connections but this is a compression type... hmmm. I wonder if it would hurt to try? http://www.seatechinc.com/Technical/Installations

New Sea Tech Fitting on Hot Water Heater Leaking

I had a problem with this elbow fitting leaking water at my hot water tank. Leaking so fast that it emptied my fresh water tank on my 2002 280 Sundancer in about 25 min. Thank god the bilge pumps work great! I just replaced the fitting shown in the pic below with a brand new Sea Tech...
