Any recommendations for particular suits?

Anyone have general thoughts on immersion suits for recreational boaters? It seems like a good idea to have some sort of quick donning protection that will at least extend your chances of surviving cooler water temps but do the $400-$500 variety (Stearns, Mustang, etc.) provide adequate protection?

Is "Snap-In Carpet" Custom Marine Carpet the best way to go?

Anyone have any suggestions or guidance for replacing snap-in carpet for a 2000 310 Sundancer? Recommended venders for Sea Ray replacement carpet? I'm assuming carpet will come without female ends of the snaps installed so that you can custom install to match existing male end on the deck.
