Make sure she's not in gear. I know that may be a lil elementary but I had that issue once..the gear shifter appeared to be in neutral and she wasn't all the way in neutral. She cranked and cranked and cranked...but wouldn't start. Good Luck!

Thanks Ron! I was asking mainly because it gets so bloody hot down there and from some of the pics of the 84's it looks like the starboard vents are cupped forward. matt

Hello All, I'm just wondering if anyone out there has any knowledge of how the vents on the port and starboard side of the boat are supposed to be mounted? Mine are all mounted with the cups facing aft, so it doesn't seem any air flow is actually getting in through the vents, to cool the engine...
