I am pretty anal about my stuff and try to keep everything as new as possible. I also always disclose any problems I know about up front, I have been screwed in the past and I would never do that to somebody. I sold my last boat to the first person who looked at it because it was in way better...
It took me a year to find this one in Florida, most boats here have rotted and moldy interiors. I also only see hurricane deck boats in this area. I really hate to sell it, it's in such nice condition and is a ton of fun but we recently bought a restaurant and we just don't have time to use it...
We have decided to sell our 1995 240 sundeck. The only place I have found to help me determine the price is Nada. The problem with with Nada is the list of options is very basic. For instance I have two bimini tops and a factory camper enclosure that has never been used that goes with the boat...
The marina just called me to tell me that one of my trim tab cylinders s leaking fluid. They noticed it when they pulled the boat out of the water. The boat is a 1995 Sea Ray 240 sundeck, I'm wondering if all of the o-rings the same size or do I have to get any specific model numbers or anything...
I have a 1995 searay 240 sundeck with a 350. When I'm alone on the boat with a light load I can only get about 2,900 rpms at full throttle at about 40-42 mph. It runs great and even with 8 adults it jumps right on plane easily and I can cruise on plane at 1500-2000 rpms. The boat came with a...
I went back to the boat today and enlarged the hole by about a 1/4 inch with a flapper wheel and a drill. It only took about 5 minutes for each speaker and they now fit perfect. I'm very happy with the way the sound especially for less than $30 a pair.
It's been a little while but I finally bought a new set of speakers. I ended up with a cheap set of boss marine Mr 60 W 200 watt speakers. They say they are 6.5 inch. I just tried to install them and there is no way these will fit in the hole of the old speakers. The backside of the speaker is...
The two front speakers on my deckboat are crumbling inside. They are 6.5 inch clarion cm 262 2 way 100 watt speakers. I need to find a speaker that can withstand actually getting wet, its impossible to rinse the boat well without hitting them with the hose. Is a regular marine grade speaker...
Great information in this thread, but too much information and now my brain is fried. I just got quoted over $750 to buff my deckboat. I did it last year myself but it wasn't perfect like I wanted it and I'm sure it was because I didn't use the correct compounds. Could someone tell me what...
Well, part of the mystery is solved. There is a button that needs to be pushed in for 3 seconds that brings you to additional settings. Nothing about this is mentioned in the instructions, I found it online. Once into those settings I can adjust the volume for different inputs. I had to increase...
