I went back to the boat today and enlarged the hole by about a 1/4 inch with a flapper wheel and a drill. It only took about 5 minutes for each speaker and they now fit perfect. I'm very happy with the way the sound especially for less than $30 a pair.

Well, part of the mystery is solved. There is a button that needs to be pushed in for 3 seconds that brings you to additional settings. Nothing about this is mentioned in the instructions, I found it online. Once into those settings I can adjust the volume for different inputs. I had to increase...
