Has anyoneinstalled a SeaDek swim deck pad? Looking into ordering one and have questions on how well it adheres and holds up. They have specs for a 220 (they list as a 22). Are there any other manufactures to check out?

Check w/Islandhopper/Mike, I'm pretty sure he has one on his 240DA.Has anyoneinstalled a SeaDek swim deck pad? Looking into ordering one and have questions on how well it adheres and holds up. They have specs for a 220 (they list as a 22). Are there any other manufactures to check out?
Here you go:

That looks great!
How hot does it get during the summer?
Thanks,
Mike
I too am looking at the Seadek material, I need to call them I guess because the website lists their template for the 220 sun deck as being for a 2007 year model. pchansen, I notice in your pictures that in addition to your swim platform you've got a strip on the passageway into the boat and a small piece on the nonskid on the port side just above the platform. Was that a custom option?
Thanks!
Gotcha. That's really nice I really like the look you've got going there. You can template just about anything (All my SeaDek was templated by me - mainly because of the addition of the grill mount). In addition to what you see in the pictures, I also have the foot pad at the helm and the anchor locker door at the bow covered.

Sorry I didn't respond earlier- didn't see the post. Anyway, it's the standard Magma BBQ pedestal mount. I think you can buy just the mount and leg and you should be able to fashion a way attach the leg to your BBQ.pchansen,
What type of mount is that. Was it a universal or brand specific? The plate you have is exactly what I am looking for to attach to the swim deck but want to make sure it will work with my grill. That being said also what type of pedestal leg and attachment do you have? Any help is greatly appreciated.
I've thought about it as my carpet is the original from 2005. I can't figure out what to do with the male snaps that are screwed into the floor. I could take them out and fill the holes with epoxy or gelcoat or resin or whatever. I do a bit of fishing on the boat and it's nice to be able to remove the carpet for days when i might have a bloody fish flopping around on the floor. I'm leaning on just replacing the carpet with a slightly updated pattern from one of the carpet vendors. The price quote was about $410 if i remember correctly. This is the pattern I'm looking at. I think it will hide spills and small blemishes better than the off-white color I have now.Would you consider the Seadek product for replacing the snap in carpeting? I recently ordered a custom piece for the helm station area, but haven't received it yet.
And, yes, it does hide dirt, stains and spilled Bourbon very well!
