Hi All

17-days until spring. When are y'all splashing and what work needs to be performed prior to splashing?

I am scheduled for April 16th.

I am replacing:
  • Exhaust manifolds
  • Risers
  • Most of the cooling system hoses

I'm shooting for April 15th .:thumbsup:
Trim tab lights & more speakers & replace the outdrive impellers.
I have a big list of crap that needs to be done this spring.

I can't wait to sleep on the boat again its been a long cold winter.. :smt089

I won't rub it in but we were out last Sunday. 82deg and sunny. I'll be getting my boat to MM for the outdrive service next week and then a final cleaning/waxing and I'm ready to go for the summer. Hopefully only beer and gas will need to be added.
 
April 15 also!!!:smt038:smt038 I can't wait till the weather turns and try out the Shurhold Products!!!

April 15th pending severe flooding in MN :smt021
They are predicting it will crest higher than the record flooding in 1965.


Tune up on port engine
Replacing all batteries
Fixing anchor paddles
Replacing bilge motors
Buffing and waxing the outside
Installing a screen for the aft panel on camper top. Not sure why the designed the back piece without a screen
 
I am in now :smt038, but expect to pull her in late June for bottom paint and waxing... I will start her up when ski season is over, and the temps go above 60 degrees...

I am looking forward to our Memorial day raft up with Ron the and BB gang... :thumbsup::thumbsup:

On my list this year is engine and transmission oil, not much more to do this year, I hope...
 
May 15, hope to have ice-out by Mar 31, or so. Ice Shanties have to be off the ice by Mar 15.

Shooting for May 6th. That will give me a couple of weeks to get her cleaned and polished before the splash.
 
Whenever the ice melts!

Last year I was in on April 7th. This year might be around the 15th or 20th.

April 22 or thereabouts. It's killing me, bought my first boat end of last season and basically having to wait until spring to use it.

Looks like lots of cleaning and mostly minor repairs, previous owner neglected some things. New ladder clasp, broken hose clamps, fix canvas neglect. Water inlet just sprays water all over everything. Little stuff like that.

The weird one is my 2008 310 cabin door needs track repairs. Isn't that a bit soon for it to be broken? Can I claim it is a defect and get them to warranty repair it?

Door feels like dragging 100lbs over sandpaper.

If everything goes well, May 1. However heat exchangers have to be tested and I think on the starboard engine heat risers and elbows. At the end of last season, steam was coming out of the starboard engine. After the boat was pulled, all the antifreeze was replaced with water, so either of those two items (since that is the only places that water could exchange) may need to be replaced.
 
April 7th!!:smt038 Going over this weekend to freshin' up the bottom paint and mount the new grill. Once I'm in the water, new plugs, wires and oil change. Hopefully that's it!
 
Well I haven't really unsplashed, but she goes in for annual drive service on Monday, I'll change the oil and get a handful of other things done and maybe head out next two weekends for some overnighters.
 
Last year was 03 April ... so whenever the ice melts and I get the green light from the marina.

To do:

-Wash, wax, clean carpets
-New batteries
-Upgrade stereo
-New zippers on the bimini and side curtains (getting done now)
-Install window in rear curtain (didn't have one)
-Rob store to fill the gas tank
-Have fun and make memories!

Since you boat in the BB, maybe you can join or gang at one over our raft-ups this summer... We often meet a the Governor's Cut on the North side of IBSP... We also like to go to High Bar Harbor to anchor as well...
 
I'm hoping for April 16th, if the ice is out. I'll clean er up real good first part of April, so she's all ready by ice out!
