Aluminum heads warping... Get into modern times. The First gen Max's (lb7) had injector issues up to 03. " GM issued a warranty for this after the fact for injectors, which now have 7 year/200,000 mile coverage. The Duramax was on the Ward's 10 Best Engines list in 2001 and 2002"!! From then on, fixed. As I stated, GM diesels have steadily improved and Ford has steadily gone down hill. Tell me of any issues YOU have personally worked on starting with the 06 LLY-LBZ up thru the current LML RPO:wow: Also as you said about the power junk, with the older Allisons, they couldn't handle any power adders, but strictly stock, they will outperform any 4R100 or 5R110 any time. Funny how many different trannys they have come out with in such a short time:smt021 Do very many folks bring their complicated common rail injected diesels to a tire and lube center for major repairs:huh: Who sets the bar every model year for all round performance and mileage since 2002?? I will concede that Chevy has not even been in the diesel competition until 2002. You can spew Isuzu all day but at the end of the day the Dmax is a joint venture between GM and Isuzu in Moraine, Ohio.
Speaking spark plugs, how many "pop" out of those Triton heads :wow::wow:
