Thank you! I am the definition of the True River Rat. I think maybe I might have a little bit of Mark Twain DNA in my some where way back! I take pride in being a Minnesotan, I take pride in of the Twins, and the Vikes, and I take GREAT pride in the Mississippi River and being a river rat! ( who is a liberal witch with a pig)

Scott, I'm with you on Mike. I remember back in the day when Singletary, Urlacher, Butkus ruled the Monsters of the Midway. :grin::grin:

Even a GB fan had to respect these guys!!:wow::wow:

So impressive that it helped Jim Harbaugh get signed on with the 49ers.

I hope there is a Ravens vs. 49ers game sometime soon. Brothers tend to compete extra hard when going against each other. :thumbsup:

Mike was a great player and a good linebacker coach but was not qualified or prepared to be a head coach. He had no idea what he was doing, had distain for the media and quite frankly the fans. He had a weekly radio show with the local sports station interviewing him and they made fun of him most all of the time because he never said anything but "We have to review the film, looking forward, moving forward, we are working our butts off, etc.

He had no idea when to challenge a call, how to let a staff work (he controlled them and didn't even let coordinators speak to the media), evaluate coaching talent (Jimmy Ray). I basically boycotted until he and Alex Smith were gone. I have not watched an entire game for 2 years and watched last week with an interim coach in place and the players having fun.

BTW, I would be willing to bet that the 49ers have better team talent than your Colts. It's just that you have that Manning guy...
 
Ravens play teams from the NFC west (49ers, Seahawks, Rams, Cardinals) next year, the 49ers are on the road in Baltimore (any Ravens fan would know that)........just heard today that the NFL Network is talking about making 49ers @ Ravens the opening game of the season on Thursday Night Football next year.

Usually the Super Bowl winner opens at home on Thursday Night Football..........good way to kill two birds with one stone.

Drunk while "Mouring" is a bad thing. Drunk while moored is acceptable. Good luck to your Colts! I don't like them but I really don't like the Jets!
