Rounding Thomas Point light this morning:

But only after visiting the "Urgent Care" behind the liquor store in Annapolis to get my toe fixed:

Blood soaking through the bandage seems to be an issue but the doc there does magic with the Novocaine needles in the toes. But he does not take insurance and prefers cash.... small bills...

I thought the same thing until AC, he doesn't wear shoes. I'm not even sure he owns any.

Didn't the Walk-in joint have any fishy band-aids for you?
Did you get stitches? Too bad it didn't happen in AC. I got a whole spool of good nylon for quick sunbrella repairs and a big needle. Sterilize the wound with spiced rum, anesthetize the patient with said rum and start doin' a Rambo repair on that sasquatch toe! Hell, I may even be able to find some of that there mercuracrome stuff you keep asking about.

OK, I'll bite. What's the backstory on this? Drop a wrench on the toe changing an impeller? Kick a dock cleat? Wife slammed the door on the toe?

Rumor is he was putting suntan lotion on his legs when he dropped his glass of water...the water reacted with the suntan lotion and a hole started to form in the flesh of his foot. Off to the urgent care he went.

I jumped off the boat onto the dock and a sliver a little over 1" long and about 1/8" wide went into that toe... they had to cut it out. My son took a video of the whole thing if you are all interested in seeing me scream as they put needles in my toe to numb it...

Maybe I'll start wearing shoes...

wow, what a *****.(screaming....... WTF)
was in the wrong place at that time and had and had a 1/2 inch rod sever my right clavicle and do a decent amount of damage on its way through. was airlifted, tended to and zero anestesia, operated on in the trauma center. it wouldnt and couldnt wait. gimme a break. did it hurt, you will never, NEVER, even imagine how bad it can be.
Yeah and NO alcohol or drugs were involved.

ouch,but i thought you might have been trying to adjust an antenna, that somehow was not straight, put your foot out of the side window to adjust it and got your toe caught...:lol:
