My dingy is an AB 9.5' weighs about 150lbs
My motor is 15 hp Yamaha 2 stroke, weighs about 80 lbs.
I don't have any close up photos and won't be out to the boat until next weekend, but basically there are two pivot points that mount at the rear edge of the swim playform. I backed those up with stainless plates and squeezed in 3M sealant. You also need an anchor point to which you tie the block/tackle. I did some math and figured there would be some hefty loads on that anchor point (mechanical disadvantage at certain points of the lift cycle). I added two SeaRay cleats (same as the one at the anchor tie off). I mounted those on the top edge of the stern, backed them up with high density plywood, sqeezed in plenty of epoxy resin with micro balloon filler, added a couple of layers of glass cloth, then 3/16 stainless plates. I anchor the block and tackle on one of the cleats and use the other one to secure the dingy during travel. So far, so good (3rd season).
I have a 7:1 block and tackle, which the dealer upgraded for me from the standard 5:1. I highly recommend that upgrade. It works great.
I'll search for some better photos and/or shoot some new ones when I get out there.
